KAEYC Annual Conference 2015

We began the Annual Conference with a members only networking event on October 23rd at the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art on the campus of Kansas State University. Kathrine Schlageck, Senior Educator engaged our group of members in learning about Art in Early Education through movement, reflection, and conversation.

I really was pleased with the new venue for the
conference. The access to each session
was really easy find and the traffic flow was very well maintained. As a board member I was completely excited to see so many people coming
together for a common cause of gaining additional information regarding the
education, welfare, and care for our young children. I really enjoy being able to converse with
others in my profession, as we share our knowledge with each other about the
work that we do with young children. I
am already looking forward to next year’s exciting conference.

2016 Professional Development Event
Due to a new conference venue, the date for 2016 has not
been set. However, plans have already been made for another great year at
the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, KS with Jim Gill as the Keynote Speaker.
This event will take place on a Saturday in October!
Kansas AEYC
will begin seeking proposals from presenters in March!
