Kansas State University: Early Childhood Student Association

It time to gear up for another year at KSU!
Most K-Staters are pumped for football season to begin, ready for classes to start, and friendships and memories that will be shared!

For me, I am ecstatic to be President of
the Early Childhood Student Association
during the 2015-2016 school year!

What is The Early Childhood Student Association?

The Early Childhood Student Association (ECSA) at Kansas State University provides information and resources to students interested in fields related to Early Childhood in order to benefit them throughout their college career and beyond.

Who is a part of ECSA?

ECSA is composed of about 20 undergraduate and graduate students at KSU and we are lucky enough to have two ECE instructors as co-advisers!! (Thanks for all you do!)

What does ECSA do?

We meet at least once a month. Our meetings provide professional development opportunities for  ECE students and connect them with professionals in the field. Additionally, ECSA hosts fundraising events throughout the year. A portion of the proceeds are sent to the Irente Children's Home in Tanzania, Africa and the remainder is used to support KSU students attending the NAEYC Annual Conference. We hope to see other Kansans in Orlando, Florida this year!

Wishing you all the best as the year takes off, and
as always, Go Cats!
